Given its ongoing commitment to add value to attendees, we will debut a number of unique, engaging, and interactive learning formats on the exhibit floor.

ASCRS Tap Room

The ASCRS Tap Room offers a forum where ASCRS and the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) attendees can grab a drink, learn about the latest technologies, devices, products and services and network with friends and colleagues. Participating companies will share information with attendees and engage in a facilitated Q&A session. Strategically placed within the exhibit hall, The ASCRS Tap Room creates a comfortable, welcoming environment for attendees to learn new technologies and techniques while networking with colleagues and industry representatives.

The Thriving Practice

In 2020, ASCRS will feature the Thriving Practice, an experiential event that showcases new developments associated with all aspects of ophthalmic care. From staff training tools and EMR systems to the latest technologies, devices and techniques, The Thriving Practice will allow attendees a hands-on experience with today’s innovations shaping tomorrow’s ophthalmic future. Through the unique strategic partnership between ASOA and ASCRS, the 2020 Annual Meeting offers the opportunity to bring innovation to the entire practice and to enhance the patient experience throughout the complete eye care journey.

Tour of Excellence

New in 2020, ASCRS will host the Tour of Excellence. Ophthalmic program directors will guide residents, fellows and young physicians through the exhibit hall and facilitate introductions on the exhibit hall floor with companies participating in The Thriving Practice. These guided tours offer current and emerging ophthalmic leaders the opportunity for hands-on interaction with premier technologies.
