This Main Stage event features the interviews with the incoming and outgoing ASCRS president, the ASCRS Hall of Fame, and presentation of the ASCRS Educator Award, ASCRS Foundation Chang-Crandall Humanitarian Award, and ASCRS Foundation Volunteer of the Year, as well as other important updates and honors from the Society. It will also kickoff the ASCRS 50th Anniversary Celebration!

This Main Stage event features the Binkhorst Lecture. The Binkhorst Lecture and medal were established in 1975 in honor of intraocular lens (IOL) pioneer Cornelius D. Binkhorst, MD (1912–1995). This medal is awarded to an individual who has followed in Dr. Binkhorst's footsteps with outstanding contributions to the understanding and practice of anterior segment surgery. The 2024 Cornelius D. Binkhorst, MD, Lecture will be delivered by Mitchell Weikert, MD.
This session will also include guest speaker Annie Duke and “The X Factor: Women Leading by Example.”

This Main Stage event includes the Lindstrom Symposium, which includes the Richard L. Lindstrom, MD, Lecture, which was established in 2021 to recognize the exceptional contributions made by Dr. Lindstrom to ASCRS and ophthalmology, and honors individuals who have made significant contributions in anterior segment surgery. The 2024 Richard L. Lindstrom, MD, Lecture will be delivered by Renato Ambrosio Jr., MD, PhD.
This session will also include the Innovator’s program with an industry roundable and the Charles D. Kelman, MD, Innovator’s Lecture delivered by David F. Chang, MD.
