Abstract submissions for the 2027 ASOA Annual Meeting are opening soon!

Got a powerful idea? A success story? A fresh perspective? Start brainstorming now, your expertise could be on the program next year. Presenting at the ASOA Annual Meeting is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise, share insights, and help shape the educational experience for your peers.

Key Dates

Jan 30, 2026 – Skip the Line registration deadline

Mar 10, 2026 – Faculty registration deadline

Jan 6 – Mar 6, 2026 – Handout upload window

Mar 6, 2026 – Handouts due

Apr 10–13, 2026 – Annual Meeting in Washington, DC

Registration & Policies

  • Course instructors and faculty must be registered for the ASOA Annual Meeting to participate.
  • ASOA does not pay honoraria or travel/housing expenses for presenters.

Handouts

  • Save as PDF only, max 20MB.
  • Format slides 2 per page for note taking.
  • Name file like: lastname_course.pdf
  • Upload via Speaker Center between Jan 6–Mar 6.

Presentation Prep

  • Confirm course participation of all faculty and notify ASOA staff of any faculty changes.
  • Sessions are 60 minutes. Make sure to leave time Q&A.
  • Use PowerPoint, Keynote, or video in 16:9 widescreen.
  • Add disclosure on your first or second slide.
  • Keep slides clear, unbiased, and logo free.

At the Meeting

  • Presentations aren’t uploaded ahead of time, so bring your file on a flash drive or similar device to your course room.
  • Visit the Speaker Ready Room to test videos or multimedia.
  • Rooms include podium mic, lavalier mic, projector, screen, and confidence monitor.
  • Verbally share your disclosure at the start.
  • Sessions are recorded, be sure to speak clearly into the microphone throughout your presentation

Attendee Feedback

  • Encourage your audience to fill out evaluations in the app or at CME/CE stations.
