Annual Meeting Cancellation Options for Registrants

ASOA offers its members the following options regarding their 2020 Annual Meeting registration fees:

  • Take no action at this time. Give ASOA the opportunity to fully develop an alternate plan. Once developed, you can determine whether you to wish to simply apply your 2020 registration fees (or a portion thereof, depending on pricing) to this alternate program.
  • Apply 2020 registration fees to the 2021 ASOA Annual Meeting. Simply email asoa2021@asoa.org and request to apply your fees to the 2021 annual meeting scheduled for April 9-13 in San Francisco, CA. These fees will be considered payment in full; registrants will not be expected to pay any fee increase for the 2021 meeting.
  • Request a refund. Email help@asoa.org to request a refund using the subject line, “ASOA 2020 Refund Request.” Standard ASOA practice is to impose a $150 handling fee on cancellations. While nominal, this fee will cover some of our costs which are significant at this stage of planning. That said, we recognize times are difficult across the board, so if you feel strongly that you would like to receive a full refund please note accordingly in your refund request. Please allow up to 30 days for the refund to appear on your credit card.
  • Gift your Registration fee to ASOA: Like many of you, ASOA is feeling the financial impact of the Coronavirus. If you would like to support the society and help offset some of the expenses associated with the 2020 meeting, please email igift2asoa@asoa.org. All members donating their registration fees will be acknowledged on our website and in external communications; your generosity is greatly appreciated!
