What’s New at ASCRS 2025
What's New?
If you haven’t attended the ASCRS Annual Meeting in the last few years, we have some new features for you. And even if you are a yearly attendee, expect some new sessions and meeting experiences as well.

SightLine at ASCRS
Gain a clear line of sight and influence the strategies that will help ensure the success of all aspects of commercial ophthalmology in the future at this 1-day meeting, taking place April 24, ahead of the ASCRS Annual Meeting.

BRiCS Breakfast Symposium
This session will preview the Business of Refractive Cataract Surgery (BRiCS) Summit and serve as the kickoff for Refractive Day. BRiCS Summit will return to stage along with select attendee alumni, to give you a taste of this important course, which helps motivated practices increase adoption of advanced-technology IOLs by laying the business foundation and providing exclusive resources necessary for success. Anyone interested in learning more about BRiCS is invited to attend.

Get H.I.P.
“ASCRS Get H.I.P.” is comprised of four new sessions in the areas of cataract, cornea, glaucoma, and refractive that will focus on “High Impact Pearls.” ASCRS members submitted short-form videos for inclusion in this program. Each session will have 16 presented pearls—minimum—for a total of 64+ pearls among the four Get H.I.P. sessions!

Exhibit Hall
The ASCRS Exhibit Hall now opens on Friday, April 25, for ASCRS Subspecialty Day. Engage with 200+ exhibitors, network and relax in the ASCRS Tap Room, check out the ASCRS Wellness Lounge, get an updated professional headshot, and more in the Exhibit Hall. The Exhibit Hall will be closed Monday, April 28.

Dr. Glaucomflecken
William Flanary, MD, better known online by his comedic social media personality “Dr. Glaucomflecken,” will join the ASCRS Government Relations Session, April 27, on the Main Stage.

VIP Lounge
The ASCRS Foundation VIP Lounge is a new, exclusive space designed to be a comfortable, private setting for attendees to find a bit of respite and refreshment amidst the action of the meeting. Akin to an airline club lounge, the ASCRS Foundation VIP Lounge is thoughtfully designed for networking, relaxation, and inspiration. Those who make a generous contribution of $5,000 or more will have access to the lounge.

Party for a Purpose
The ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose takes on a new theme this year: Hollywood. Kick off the party in style and dazzle in the glamour of Hollywood April 25 from 8:00–11:00 p.m.
