ASCRS Subspeciality Day Friday July 23, 2021

ASCRS Subspecialty Day fee includes badge, printed program, breakfast, lunch, breaks, admittance to the ASCRS Subspecialty Day exhibit hall and all ASCRS Subspecialty Day educational sessions on Friday, July 23, 2021.  Subspecialty Day registration includes complimentary online access to recordings of all three meetings, available through ASCRS Presentations On Demand. Presentations will be posted within 48 hours of the live session.

Important Notice

When registering for the 2021 ASCRS Annual Meeting and the 2021 ASOA Annual Meeting be sure to do so through the official ASCRS registration system. We have received reports that other companies – not affiliated with ASCRS or ASOA – are posing as official registration vendors. ASCRS and ASOA only guarantee registrations made through our own site (the registration pages will have the logo for Convention Data Services in the page footer). Registrations made outside of the official registration system may result in your registration not being recognized onsite at the meeting. Registration Categories
U.S. Physician/International Physician
An MD, PhD or DO who is a current member of ASCRS. The registration fee does not include annual membership dues. Membership must be valid through July 31, 2021. (Note: An MD, PhD, or DO who is a member of ASOA only must join ASCRS and pay appropriate membership dues.)
U.S. Young Physician
A U.S. MD or DO who is in his or her first five years of practice and who is a current member. Membership must be valid through July 31, 2021.
U.S. Resident/U.S. Fellow
An MD or DO who is currently in a residency or fellowship program in the United States. A current letter of verification from department chair or fellowship sponsor must be submitted to Your registration will not be complete until your residency/fellowship documentation has been received and approved. All residency/fellowship documentation must be received by April 28, 2020, to be eligible for the discounted rate. Residents or fellows who register onsite will incur full registration fees.
International Resident (Member in Training)

Members in training must provide, in English, current proof of residency signed by the program director and a copy of a government picture ID noting birthdate (not to exceed age 35).

ASOA Member/Nonmember
Practice administrator or other practice management staff, ASOA consultant and vendor members. Physicians cannot register in this category. Registration fee does not include annual membership dues. Membership must be valid through May 31, 2020 for ASOA Member rates.
Joint ASOA/Technicians & Nurses
Applies to those interested in attending both the ASOA and Technicians & Nurses programs. Crossover between the ASOA and Technicians & Nurses programs will be permitted only to those registered in the joint registration category. Those registered for only the ASOA or Technicians & Nurses program will not be allowed to go between the two programs. Registrants of either category are permitted to attend ASCRS courses, paper sessions and symposia.
Integrated Eye Care Optometrist

Optometrists (ODs) can register under this category only and must certify that they are one of the following:

  • Employed by an ophthalmologist

  • Employed by a medical school (not a college of optometry)

  • Employed by a managed-care provider

  • Employed by the military

  • Employed by industry/manufacturer

  • Employed by a corporate center (TLC, LCA, etc.)

Attendance at, or participation in, ASCRS and ASOA Annual Meeting programs, events, courses, presentations or other activities does not qualify an optometrist to perform surgery, does not qualify as continuing medical education and does not justify claims to surgical expertise or licensure.

Industry Representative

Manufacturers and other corporate personnel who do not have exhibit space but wish to attend the Annual Meeting. No solicitation is permitted. This includes attendees who plan on attending the exhibit hall only. Physicians cannot register in this category.


Guests 21 years of age and over are required to pay a registration fee. The fee includes badge, printed program, Exhibit Hall entrance, Welcome Party, ASOA Celebration, and the ASCRS Film Festival Awards Ceremony.

Badge Information
Badges and programs will not be mailed. For the best registration experience, remember to bring your confirmation email with you onsite to retrieve your badge. There is a $180 lost badge reprint fee. 
Registrations received without payment will not be processed.

Payment (in U.S. funds) accepted by VISA, AMEX, MasterCard or Discover and personal check. Registrations received without payment will not be processed.
