Go wild with eyePAC after hours at the San Diego Zoo! Contributors to ASCRS’ non-partisan political action committee, eyePAC, will enjoy exclusive access to our annual reception, which will be held at Sydney’s Grill, located within the Australian Outback/Urban Jungle section of the world-famous wildlife sanctuary that houses more than 3,700 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies. Up-lit trees and colorful umbrellas create ambience throughout the venue, where you and your guests will enjoy drinks and an ample array of substantial hors d'oeuvres after the zoo has closed to the public. A few steps in any direction will allow you to see giraffes, koalas, rhinos, and more. Zoo staff will also provide private animal presentations throughout the evening as part of your VIP experience. The ASCRS Subspecialty Day exhibit hall, open to all attendees of ASCRS Glaucoma Day, ASCRS Refractive Day and Cornea Day offers a unique opportunity for you to connect with exhibitors that pertain to your field. The exhibits for Subspecialty Day will be open for a limited time, beginning with breakfast on Friday morning, prior to your sessions for the day. Be sure to also stop by the exhibits during your breaks and lunch.

Computers with internet Access
Computerized Evaluations for ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting
ASCRS and ASOA programs will be evaluated electronically. Attendees can visit any Connect and Claim Station and evaluate programs they have attended. When the evaluation is complete, a copy of the continuing education credits/hours for that day can be printed. If attendees do not complete the evaluations during the meeting, they can complete them at home. Visit the ASCRS•ASOA websites, evaluate the program and print a copy of the credits/hours. Important Reminder: All attendees must have their badges printed on site to be verified as eligible for credit.
The program evaluation and credit claims will be available at Connect and Claim Stations and online, with the exception of the Technicians & Nurses Program. Paper evaluations will be given upon entering the course room and will be used for the Technicians & Nurses Program, and JCAHPO credits are processed and claimed directly through JCAHPO.
Messages, Attendee Locator
The message center will list only people who have registered for and arrived at the meeting. Users may leave/retrieve messages by text or voice. Text is entered via a computer keyboard; voice messages are recorded via a microphone. Text messages can be left in six languages. Monitors will list attendees who have messages.
Attendees will be able to browse the exhibitor directory by entering a key word or selecting a product category. A print-out will list booths where selected product(s) is displayed. Attendees can also search for specific exhibitors.
Attendees will be able to browse the entire program and select session or course by speaker, topic, date or time. Schedule, content and speaker information can be printed.

Industry Spotlight Theater
For the third year in a row, ASCRS ASOA will offer a series of product- focused corporate educational sessions, (non-CME) in our Industry Spotlight Theater located in booth 1345 in the exhibit hall. These sessions will provide you with overviews and comparisons across several different ophthalmic categories. Industry Panel discussions will follow each session.
Win big when you visit the exhibit hall!
By networking with exhibitors, attendees can receive a specially-numbered ticket either from a participating exhibitor booth, or from other sources that will be designated by ASCRS•ASOA. The ticket must be dropped into the raffle drum located by the item(s) of choice. Tickets dropped in each drum will be entered into the drawings to win. Drawings will take place in the exhibit hall and announced over the meeting app. Drawings will take place Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. A Grand Prize drawing will be hold on Monday afternoon. Giveaway items will be announced in the coming months.

ASCRS Foundation Run for Sight

Join us for the 7th Annual ASCRS Foundation Run for Sight, supported by the ASCRS Foundation and Johnson & Johnson Vision
Featuring a 5K run and a 1-mile walk, this event will bring together ASCRS delegates, their families and citizens of San Diego, California. to raise money for the ASCRS Foundation. Thanks to Johnson & Johnson Visions’ sponsorship, 100% of runner registration fees benefit the Foundation's ongoing humanitarian eye care programs in the United States and abroad (www.ascrsfoundation.org/programs). More than $100,000 has been raised by runners since the race began in 2012. All participants will receive a technical running shirt with their registration and a finisher’s medal on race day.
