The reception will be held in the Great Hall and Luce Foundation Center, where you’ll enjoy drinks and light fare under a city-block-long skylight. Plus, you will have private access to three levels of painting, sculpture, folk art and craft collections on display from floor to ceiling in this National Historic Landmark building. Connect and Claim Stations 

The Connect and Claim Stations are interactive, multimedia and multiservice information stations. The following services will be offered:

Computers with internet Access
Computerized Evaluations for ASCRS•ASOA Annual Meeting
ASCRS and ASOA programs will be evaluated electronically. Attendees can visit any Connect and Claim Station and evaluate programs they have attended. When the evaluation is complete, a copy of the continuing education credits/hours for that day can be printed. If attendees do not complete the evaluations during the meeting, they can complete them at home. Visit the ASCRS•ASOA websites, evaluate the program and print a copy of the credits/hours. Important Reminder: All attendees must have their badges printed on site to be verified as eligible for credit.
The program evaluation and credit claims will be available at Connect and Claim Stations and online, with the exception of the Technicians & Nurses Program. Paper evaluations will be given upon entering the course room and will be used for the Technicians & Nurses Program, and JCAHPO credits are processed and claimed directly through JCAHPO.
Messages, Attendee Locator
The message center will list only people who have registered for and arrived at the meeting. Users may leave/retrieve messages by text or voice. Text is entered via a computer keyboard; voice messages are recorded via a microphone. Text messages can be left in six languages. Monitors will list attendees who have messages.
Product Locator
Attendees will be able to browse the exhibitor directory by entering a key word or selecting a product category. A print-out will list booths where selected product(s) is displayed. Attendees can also search for specific exhibitors.
Session Locator
Attendees will be able to browse the entire program and select session or course by speaker, topic, date or time. Schedule, content and speaker information can be printed.

    ASCRS Foundation Run for Sight

    Sunday, April 15

    Join us for the 6th Annual ASCRS Foundation Run for Sight, supported by the ASCRS Foundation and Johnson & Johnson Vision

    Featuring a 5K run and a 1-mile walk, this event will bring together ASCRS delegates, their families and citizens of Washington, D.C. to raise money for the ASCRS Foundation. All funds raised for the ASCRS Foundation, more than $91,800 over the past five years, go to benefit the Foundation's ongoing humanitarian programs in Ethiopia and the United States.

    Bus transportation to-and-from the National Mall will be provided for ASCRS attendees and all participants will receive a runner shirt with their registration.

    Re-Fresh and Re-Charge Lounge

    Throughout the meeting – from Saturday, April 14 through Monday, April 16 – all attendees can visit the Re-Fresh and Re-Charge Lounges in the Exhibit Hall. The Lounges offer attendees the chance to recharge their tablets, cell phones and other devices while relaxing and networking with colleagues in between education sessions. The Lounge will also offer complimentary flavored ice water stations and our ASCRS ASOA Today recordings.

Washington Convention Center and ASCRS•ASOA will offer food stations of many different concepts during the lunch break: Saturday, April 14-Monday, April 16, in the Exhibit Hall, as well as various offerings in the Downtown Food District on the Concourse Level and the Uptown Food Court on the 2nd Level. From domestic classics like bbq, deli, pizzas and burgers to International favorites such as Mediterranean, Asian and Italian… we will have something for everyone.
