Course Description
The course will present "cascading" methods for the optimal selection of IOLs. The first is the cascading of refraction and propagation matrices and encapsulates all modern (and future) IOL power calculation formulas. The second is the cascading of the Modulation Transfer Function and accounts for Sharpness and Contrast. The third method, the cascading of layers in Neural Networks, introduces AI techniques relevant to IOL power selection.

Educational Objective
use a unified approach to IOL calculation and selection for optimal results
