Course Description
Current events have ignited discussions about how racism permeates our society and healthcare system. To be antiracist is to express the idea that racial groups are equal and to support policy that reduces racial inequity. In this course we discuss how unconscious implicit bias, stereotyping, discrimination and racism can affect our practices. We also explore strategies to lessen the impact of racism on individual and systemic levels.

Educational Objective
After taking this course the learner will be able to identify the effects of implicit bias and racism and implement systems to eliminate these from their practice environments.
