Course Description
Knowledge and appropriate utilization of social media platforms is integral and essential to ophthalmic practice. It is being recognized globally as a relatively low cost, effective option of disseminating knowledge and managing practice.The course will discuss and highlight the need for, various modalities, best utilization of these platforms and other aspects related to social media relevant to the clinician, surgeon and the practice manager

Educational Objective
I want the attendee to be able to understand the importance of social media and the various options available that can allow them to network themselves, their practices and eventually enhance personal and practice development. Since social media is unavoidable today, this course should help every level of delegate, from the lesser to the more experienced ophthalmologists
