Course Description
During this instructional course the panelists will review and update in a surgical video-based format different surgical approaches for performing intraocular lens (IOL) exchange. Topics will include indications and how to tailor the pre-operative planning. Surgical techniques in the setting of a refractive surprise, iris claw IOL'S and IOL subluxation in/out of the bag managed with different scleral fixation approaches.

Educational Objective
Attendees will learn how to perform a pertinent pre-op evaluation for strategic surgical planning, different techniques for releasing, dissecting and explanting the implants. Secondary IOL implantation approaches and pearls on how to optimize outcomes to make this procedure safer will also be described.
