Options for intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in the absence of capsular support include anterior chamber IOLs, iris-fixated IOLs, and scleral-fixated IOLs (for example, Yamane technique). The Yamane technique avoids the need for a conjunctival peritomy or scleral flaps. This case is about a 45-year-old man with ocular trauma, we performed a complex surgery that included the Yamane technique.
