Executive Committee Position: Past President
Dr. Samuelson is attending surgeon and a founding partner of Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minneapolis. He also is Adjunct Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Samuelson is a past President of the International Society of Spaeth Fellows/Wills Eye Hospital Glaucoma Fellowship Society. He received the AAO Achievement Award in 2002 and the AAO Senior Achievement Award in 2008. Dr. Samuelson is a member of the American Glaucoma Society (AGS) and serves on its Executive Committee. Dr. Samuelson is chairman of the ASCRS Glaucoma Clinical Committee and is a member of the ASCRS Governing Board. Dr. Samuelson also serves as Associate Secretariate of the AAO Annual Meeting and chairs the AAO Skills Transfer Course Committee. Dr. Samuelson serves as the Glaucoma Section Editor for Ocular Surgery News and is an editorial board member for Glaucoma Today.
