In the last years tremendous advances have been made in multifocal and enhanced depth of focus intraocular lenses technology. Different principles and various optical designs have been developed. In this video made at the David J. Apple International Laboratory for Ocular Pathology a special experimental set up was used to visualize the optical pathway of these presbyopia correcting IOLs. The differences and working principle of these lenses will be explained.
